Report type: End-of-day consolidated master
report
Source checkpoints: 00A, 00B, 00C, 00D and 00E
Prepared for: Robert Harvey Curtis (rhc)
Overall status: Foundation substantially advanced;
migration milestone complete; integrations and governance consolidation
continuing
20 August 2026 was a major foundation-building day for the Solynth Network and the Resolve Project. Work progressed across GitHub, Atlassian, Jira, Confluence, Supabase, PostgreSQL migration, Resolve code auditing, issue-management architecture, Discord endpoint security, project metadata and the emerging Solynth intelligence model.
The most substantial completed milestone was the controlled migration
of the selected PostgreSQL platform and
registry schemas into the new Solynth Metadata Supabase
project. The migration restored 25 tables together with their selected
data and supporting database objects. Structural quality assurance
matched the source preflight counts and confirmed primary keys, foreign
keys, indexes, routines, triggers and sequences. The migration is
structurally sound, although production hardening and exact data
reconciliation remain pending.
The Resolve engineering loop also became operational. ChatGPT gained read access to the private Resolve GitHub repository and demonstrated issue write capability. A connectivity issue was created and closed, a structured code and security audit began, and four confirmed findings were entered as GitHub Issues. This established the working loop of ChatGPT audit, GitHub Issue, Lovable remediation, GitHub synchronization and ChatGPT re-audit.
The Atlassian and Jira work produced mixed but valuable results. The Solynth Atlassian environment and legitimate Atlassian Rovo authorization flow were reached, but the attempted Vita MVP “Hello world” Jira write test did not complete because the iPhone redirected the OAuth handoff into the native Jira application. The Jira account itself was operational; the separate ChatGPT connector authorization was not complete at the 00C checkpoint. This distinction supersedes the earlier, more optimistic assumption that connection alone proved Jira write access.
Discord endpoint testing produced a clear security pass: an unsigned
request to the public interactions endpoint was rejected with HTTP 401
and the message Missing signature headers. This confirms
that the first layer of Discord request-signature enforcement is
active.
The broader Solynth Metadata catalog remains deferred and pending. Its Supabase project and GitHub repository now exist, and its role has been clarified, but the catalog migrations and implementation have not yet been created. This is intentional: the existing planning structures, repository issues, incoming ChatGPT export and project-specific plans must be reconciled before another schema is introduced.
The five checkpoint reports describe overlapping workstreams rather than five perfectly sequential stages. This master report uses the following ordering and interpretation:
Where two checkpoints differ, the later verified test result is treated as authoritative. In particular, reaching the Atlassian authorization screen or being logged into the Jira mobile application is not treated as proof that the ChatGPT connector was authenticated.
| Workstream | Current status | Verified outcome |
|---|---|---|
| Solynth Metadata Supabase project | Operational | Project connected and populated with migrated platform
and registry schemas |
| PostgreSQL migration | Complete; QA passed | 25 tables restored with supporting objects and selected data |
| Database production readiness | Pending hardening | RLS, function security and selected indexing work remain |
| Resolve private GitHub access | Operational | rob-solynth/evolve-solve-b4268de4 readable through the
connection |
| GitHub Issues write access | Operational | Test Issue #1 created and closed; audit Issues #2–#5 created |
| Resolve audit | In progress | Four confirmed issues filed; AUD-003 held pending RLS verification |
| Atlassian account and Jira mobile login | Operational | Solynth environment and Jira content visible to the user |
| ChatGPT-to-Jira connector | Blocked at 00C checkpoint | OAuth completion interrupted by probable iOS deep-link interception |
| Vita MVP “Hello world” Jira issue | Not created | Correctly withheld because connector authentication and project metadata were unverified |
| Confluence | Installed/connected at setup level | Detailed read/write acid test still to be confirmed |
| Compass | Available through Atlassian web integration | No standalone iPhone application required for current use |
| Discord signature verification | Pass | Unsigned request rejected with HTTP 401 |
| Solynth Metadata implementation repository | Accessible but empty | solynth/SolynthMetadata; schema implementation deferred
and pending |
| Knowledge Framework repository | Accessible | solynth/knowledge-framework contains standards and
registry implementation material |
| Comprehensive-plan subsystem | Existing | 42 tasks, 52 task events, dependencies, mini-plans and mini-plan items |
| ChatGPT corpus export | Awaiting receipt | Ingestion and archival design pending actual size and contents |
| Solynth Intelligence Web | Concept established | Implementation pending consolidated plan and metadata model |
The Supabase account and project configuration were corrected and a dedicated project named Solynth Metadata was established. A corresponding private GitHub repository was created. The project is intended to become the controlled metadata authority for canonical application and infrastructure identities rather than a dumping ground for large operational files.
The architectural naming direction is:
solynth-metadatasolynth/SolynthMetadataFour reusable Python utilities were prepared:
The tooling was designed to protect database credentials, avoid printing secrets, and place operational logs and database archives outside source control.
The source and target were inspected before mutation:
| Check | Source | Target before restore |
|---|---|---|
| PostgreSQL version | 17.2 | 17.6 |
platform tables |
20 | 0 |
registry tables |
5 | 0 |
platform indexes |
64 | 0 |
registry indexes |
11 | 0 |
platform routines |
4 | 0 |
registry routines |
3 | 0 |
platform triggers |
10 | 0 |
registry triggers |
5 | 0 |
Every selected source table had a primary key, and neither selected schema existed on the target. This provided a clean restore boundary.
Only platform and registry were exported
and restored. The directory-format export completed successfully,
followed by a successful import into the Solynth Metadata Supabase
project and table-specific analysis for PostgreSQL planner
statistics.
The live target QA confirmed:
The migration therefore passed structural QA. Exact source-to-target row counts or checksums remain advisable for definitive data-level reconciliation because the original preflight used estimated row counts.
The migrated platform contains an existing planning foundation:
platform.comprehensive_plan_tasks — 42 rowsplatform.comprehensive_plan_task_events — 52 rowsplatform.comprehensive_plan_task_dependenciesplatform.mini_plansplatform.mini_plan_itemsThis discovery materially affects the next design step. The proposed consolidated plan should initially be a governed view across underlying plans and tasks, not another independent task ledger.
The GitHub investigation distinguished account authorization from repository installation and selection. The ChatGPT Codex Connector was authorized, but the private Resolve repository remained inaccessible until repository-level access was granted through the GitHub App installation flow.
After all-repository access was selected, the private Resolve repository became readable:
rob-solynth/evolve-solve-b4268de4
The Solynth organization repositories were also confirmed accessible:
solynth/knowledge-frameworksolynth/SolynthMetadataAn earlier Knowledge Framework access failure was caused by testing
the incorrect assumed path rob-solynth/knowledge-framework.
The correct path is solynth/knowledge-framework.
Two connectivity tests proved the Resolve engineering workflow:
This established the operating loop:
ChatGPT audit → GitHub Issue → Lovable remediation → GitHub synchronization → ChatGPT re-audit
The Resolve audit was organized using stable audit identifiers such
as AUD-001 independently of GitHub Issue numbers. Findings
were grouped into four waves:
Four confirmed findings were filed:
| Audit ID | GitHub Issue | Wave | Severity | Summary |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| AUD-001 | #2 | A | Critical/High | Public smoke endpoint treats a publishable Supabase key as an authentication secret |
| AUD-002 | #3 | A | High | assertAdminSomewhere(...) establishes admin status
somewhere, not authority in the affected tenant |
| AUD-004 | #4 | A | High | Smoke test creates known-credential auth users and may silently fail cleanup |
| AUD-005 | #5 | B | Medium/High | Authenticated users can broadly read regression results containing operational diagnostics |
AUD-003 was deliberately not filed. It concerns
tenant-scoped client queries that rely heavily on RLS without explicit
organization filters. The effective RLS chain must be traced before
treating the observation as a confirmed defect.
The public Discord interaction endpoint was tested with an intentionally unsigned request:
POST https://discord-api-buddy.lovable.app/api/public/discord/interactions
Observed result:
Missing signature headersThis is a successful security test. A public Discord interactions endpoint should reject requests that lack Discord’s cryptographic signature headers.
The Atlassian Rovo connection route was identified and the legitimate
authorization page at mcp.atlassian.com was reached. The
screen offered access to Jira, Confluence and Compass and showed the
expected ChatGPT callback destinations. The user’s Jira mobile
application successfully displayed the authenticated Solynth Atlassian
environment.
The deliberately minimal Jira mutation was:
The issue was not created. Connector calls returned:
USER_NOT_LOGGED_IN — connector is not connected
After the user approved the Atlassian authorization request, iOS opened the native Jira application rather than completing the browser OAuth callback to ChatGPT. The most reasonable diagnosis is that an iOS universal link or deep link was claimed by the Jira application before the web authorization transaction returned to ChatGPT.
This remains a strong inference rather than a confirmed Atlassian defect. The proposed validation is to repeat the connection with the Jira application temporarily removed so the browser must handle the complete authorization path.
No issue should be reported as created until Jira returns a real issue key and link.
Three issue systems are expected to serve different purposes.
Any confirmed finding that requires a code, schema, migration, configuration, deployment, API, automated test or other repository-controlled change should be represented as a GitHub Issue, regardless of severity.
The application’s own Issues capability is intended for known bugs, known limitations, workarounds, feature requests, release-impact items and matters that product users should be able to follow.
Jira is intended to cover the wider body of work: defects, database changes, infrastructure, enhancements, documentation, training, incidents, support, process changes, investigations and non-code work.
Not every item must exist in all three systems, but related records must be cross-referenceable. A future identity chain might resemble:
AUD-017 → GH-23 → APP-ISS-000123 → JIRA-SOL-456
The authoritative system for each class of state must be explicitly defined to prevent competing task ledgers.
A significant Solynth capability should be:
Expected components include the function itself, a stable programmatic interface, a manual component-test screen, an automated harness, structured test evidence, user and operator help, administrative and developer guidance, issue traceability and AI-usable metadata.
Resolve already stores regression information in
test_runs and test_results. Structured
operational data should remain the system of record, with human-facing
products generated from it, including HTML, Markdown, PDFs, dashboards,
podcasts and AI summaries.
The emerging intelligence model recognizes two complementary meanings of CI:
Together they address the Eiffel State Building problem: AI makes construction abundant, but abundant construction without demand, coordination or differentiation creates thousands of isolated variations of the same system.
The proposed Solynth Intelligence Web will visualize:
The Web is intended to become both a living architectural map and a visual history of how Solynth learns and builds.
The Solynth Metadata project and GitHub implementation repository exist. The broader metadata catalog tables were discussed and conceptually designed but were not created. Their status is formally:
Deferred and pending
This is not a failed implementation. Work moved first into integration setup, Resolve auditing and the controlled platform/registry migration.
The metadata system is expected to describe and relate:
Solynth Metadata should not become bulk file storage. The preferred boundary is:
The complete ChatGPT export is the next major source of truth. Its exact size is not yet confirmed and may be several gigabytes or more.
The working direction is to:
search_path
settings.public.rls_auto_enable()
require review and restriction.platform and registry migration is
complete and has passed structural QA.search_path and privilege issues. The day ends at a clean, recoverable checkpoint. No additional schemas, metadata tables or competing planning structures are to be created tonight. The platform and registry migration is complete; Resolve’s GitHub engineering workflow is operational; Discord’s unsigned-request protection is verified; and the remaining Jira blocker is localized.
The next major organizing event is receipt of the ChatGPT export. That corpus will support recovery of forgotten ideas, identification of unfinished and superseded work, reconstruction of the consolidated plan and prioritization of the next Solynth build stages.
| Dimension | Rating | Assessment |
|---|---|---|
| Platform foundation | Green | Major migration and connectivity milestones completed |
| Database structural integrity | Green | Source/target object counts matched; keys and constraints validated |
| Resolve engineering workflow | Green/Amber | GitHub loop operational; audit and remediation continuing |
| Discord endpoint security | Green for unsigned-request test | Remaining corrupted and valid-signature tests pending |
| Atlassian/Jira integration | Amber | Failure localized; connector callback not yet complete |
| Metadata implementation | Amber | Direction clear; schema implementation intentionally pending |
| Governance and consolidated planning | Amber | Existing structures recovered; reconciliation required |
| Production security readiness | Amber/Red | RLS and function hardening required before exposure |
The Solynth Network is materially stronger and more coherent than it was at the beginning of the day. The work has moved beyond disconnected experiments into a governed set of integration paths, verified database foundations, traceable engineering findings and an emerging intelligence architecture. The immediate discipline now is consolidation: preserve the corpus, reconcile the plans, define authority boundaries and build only the next smallest verified layer.
